Cuisinart Fondue Review - A Closer Look at The Cuisinart CFO-3SS Electric Fondue Maker
About 2 weekends ago, our friends Luke and Clara invited us over to their house for fondue.
This was a "double date" that we had taken a rain-check on two months ago, when my dad had suddenly come into town for the weekend, unexpectedly.
Luke and Clara had recently tied the knot, and they received a Cuisinart Fondue Maker (the Cuisinart CFO-3SS Electric Fondue Maker, to be exact) as a wedding present from a friend (not us).
They were excited to finally try it out.
And we were excited to them to try it out on us.
They gave us a shopping list of a few things to pick up at the store beforehand: some bread, fruit, a few veggies, along with some brownies and marshmallows. They said that they would supply everything else.
I really can't tell you much about preparation of the Cuisinart Fondue Maker, or the cleaning of it afterward.
But, I can honestly say that it was incredible experience. My wife and I have gone out for fondue once at a fancy restaurant here in town, and it was very good. Expensive, but very good.
The Cuisinart Fondue Maker rivaled that experience for a lot less money (if you only count the cost of the food, that is).
By the end of the night, we were ALL very impressed with the Cuisinart Fondue Maker, and we may end up investing in one. We love to entertain, and this would be perfect for a night that is too cold to grill, or we are just in the mood for something different.
So, if you love entertaining as much as we do, I advise you to check out the Cuisinart CFO-3SS Electric Fondue Maker. If I don't get one of these for X-mas, I'll be purchasing one of these myself.
